Riverside After School Programs
Riverside Presbyterian Day School offers child centered programs to enrolled students that extend beyond the school day.
Riverside in the Morning
Students who need to arrive at RPDS prior to the 8:00 opening are welcome in Riverside in the Morning. This program, located in the Early Learning Center, provides an inviting start to the school day.
Riverside in the Afternoon

Riverside in the Afternoon is a very special program at RPDS designed to meet the needs of those RPDS parents whose family schedule does not exactly coincide with the school’s schedule. Our program is designed to encourage student creativity, to educate the mind, to promote physical activity, and to foster strong interpersonal skills while having fun. The same attitudes of caring, individual attention and personal interest that make the school the perfect place for children also carry over into this program. Families have a variety of options for participation based on their specific needs.
During Riverside in the Afternoon, games of basketball, hopscotch and soccer can be seen on the playground while inside the Early Learning Center and Kissling Hall, children are actively engaged in dance and movement, crafts and art projects. All of these activities enjoyed with Riverside friends add up to afternoons of fun at RPDS!
Riverside in the Summer
Riverside in the Summer is designed to encourage optimum growth in an entertaining and nurturing environment for our RPDS students. The staff provides a safe, enjoyable environment for students over the summer, while offering a diverse, creative curriculum with many new and exciting experiences. All children will enjoy arts, crafts, drama, computers, sports, and a variety of fun-filled summer camp adventures. Summer activities enjoyed by the children include going to the Jacksonville Zoo, picking blueberries, water games, creating wonderful memories and making new friends.
