Message from the Director of Advancement
It has been estimated that up to 80% of the professions our RPDS children will pursue after college do not yet exist.

Think about it. Chances are, when you were in grade school no one had a personal computer, there was no such thing as the internet, and cell phones were science fiction.
The challenge faced by today’s educators is to train children for jobs that don’t yet exist which may require technology that is still to be created. However, this year, RPDS celebrates 60 years of graduating students who have gone on to excel at all levels of education and who are now among our community’s most successful and respected leaders.
Why are our graduates such high achievers?
At RPDS academic standards are high and achievement is celebrated. RPDS has created a nurturing environment of respect and consideration that makes our students want to be in the classroom and eager to learn.
How do our faculty and staff accomplish such success? One vital ingredient is involved parents and alumni.
At RPDS parents and alumni support every aspect of the school. Whether volunteering in the classroom or organizing events, participating in annual giving or making special gifts, our parents and alumni realize the profound importance of a foundational education and give generously of their time and resources to make that education exemplary.
Your gifts to RPDS allow the school to offer our students an enriched curriculum and superior materials. Your participation in school activities helps us foster a loving environment so strong that it permeates the campus.
But there is also something else that permeates the campus at RPDS. I am blessed to hear it everyday just outside my window. It’s the most beautiful sound in the world. It’s the sound of children playing.
It’s a special time in a special place, and you make it possible.
Thank You
