Financial assistance is one way we strengthen the economic and social diversity of Riverside Presbyterian Day School. Therefore, we are are dedicated to providing need-based tuition assistance to families. Each year approximately 20% of our students receive some level of financial support.
Financial Assistance Eligibility
The Financial Assistance Committee relies upon information supplied by families to FAST, our need analysis provider. In computing the amount of the award, Riverside considers factors such as family size, income, expenses, assets and liabilities and spending priorities. Each year, families applying for financial assistance must submit all required information including tax documentation.
The most important aspect of the financial assistance process is meeting the deadlines.
Parents may begin the FAST online application for the 2017-2018 school year after November 2, 2016. This application will remain open throughout the 2017-18 school year. The online submission deadline for all student applications is March 9, 2017. To accommodate our 12 month payment cycle, we attempt to make our financial decisions by March 20th.
REQUIRED TWO STEP PROCESS:
1. FAST online application ($41 Application Fee)
Completed applications, including submission of ALL tax documentation, are required prior to review by the Financial Assistance Committee. Mail signed copies of your 2016 Federal Income Tax Return (1040), including all schedules and W-2/1099 forms to FAST no later than March 9, 2017. The mailing address for FAST is:

To gain the maximum award, it is important that families meet all deadlines including having current taxes verified.
The Financial Assistance Committee determines financial awards and holds all information strictly confidential.
Failure to meet the deadlines jeopardizes your opportunity for financial assistance. We cannot guarantee funds will be available after the deadline. Families seeking tuition assistance after March 9, 2017 will receive consideration based upon available funds.
