Admissions Associate
Riverside Presbyterian Day School (RPDS), an independent, co-educational elementary school (PreK 3 – Grade 6) in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a full-time Admissions Associate for the 2025–2026 school year.
The Admissions Associate is a key member of the Admissions Team, serving as a contact for prospective families and supporting all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment. This individual works closely with the Director of Admissions and represents the School with warmth, professionalism, and a deep commitment to RPDS’s mission and values.
General Responsibilities
● Collaborate as an active and supportive member of the Admissions Team.
● Partner with the Director of Admissions to develop and implement a strategic enrollment plan. ● Serve as a welcoming and professional representative of RPDS.
● Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion throughout the admissions process. ● Embrace a growth mindset and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in independent school admissions.
Prospective Family Support
● Guide prospective families through the admissions process, including scheduling tours, responding to inquiries, and following up on applications.
● Build strong relationships by offering timely, thoughtful, and personalized communication throughout the admissions journey.
● Conduct warm, informative tours for prospective parents, serving as a knowledgeable champion of the School.
● Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the application process, school programs, financial assistance, and state scholarship opportunities.
● Welcome visitors to campus and ensure a hospitable experience.
Admissions Process & File Management
● Create and maintain applicant files, ensuring completeness and accuracy; send reminders to families as needed.
● Coordinate and schedule student visits and assessments in collaboration with teachers and families.
● Conduct admissions assessments for applicants entering PreK 4 through Grade 6, as needed. ● Prepare and organize permanent student records for newly enrolled students.
Administrative & Event Support
● Assist with planning and executing admissions events, including Family Open House, On-Campus Assessment & Visit Days, Parent Tours, Rams on the Rise gatherings, and welcome events for new families.
● Support admissions communications, including emails, printed materials, outreach campaigns, and website updates.
● Provide administrative support to the Director of Admissions, including calendar management, data entry, and report generation.
● Assist with New Family Ambassadors to support onboarding efforts and foster community connection.
● Monitor and restock office supplies to ensure a well-equipped and welcoming environment.
Technology & Data Management
● Use systems such as Blackbaud, Clarity, and standard office software to manage admissions data and communications.
● Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in admissions and student information databases. ● Prepare and distribute online notifications and physical acceptance letters; manage related mailings throughout the year.
● Assist in maintaining and updating admissions and financial assistance spreadsheets and related documentation.
Other Duties
● Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and operation of the School.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree required
● Minimum of three years of experience in Admissions or a related field

Academic Support Specialist
Riverside Presbyterian Day School, an independent co-educational elementary day school located in Jacksonville, FL seeks a full-time 4th – 6th Grade Academic Support Specialist to begin August 2025.
The successful candidate will be an experienced learning specialist with a clear understanding of the academic and developmental needs of the age group, work collaboratively in a team setting, inspire learning, and possess the skills necessary to enhance the overall educational experience by fostering students’ academic, ethical, social, and emotional development in accordance with the Riverside Presbyterian Day School mission and philosophy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic support to upper elementary students via small group and individualized instruction.
- Construct and implement researched-based interventions and developmentally appropriate learning strategies to support student learning and growth.
- Communicate with teachers regarding accommodations and expectations.
- Ensure appropriate modifications and accommodations are in place for students throughout the school year.
- Build students’ organizational and study skills.
- Collaborate and conference regularly with faculty, parents, and outside resources to support the needs of students.
- Provide information to parents, faculty, and students regarding desired learning outcomes and progress toward goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Education or related field. Master’s Degree preferred
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and experience in research-based programs such as Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, Fountas and Pinnell, and Singapore Math
- Demonstrated knowledge of intervention methodologies and experience as a reading or math specialist and/or learning specialist
- Strong understanding of children’s developmental, intellectual, and social and emotional needs
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, faculty, and administration and capacity move toward solutions through professional dialogue

5th Grade Language Arts Teacher
Riverside Presbyterian Day School, an independent co-educational elementary (PreK 3 – 6th Grade) day school located in Jacksonville, FL seeks a full-time 5th Grade Language Arts Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of his/her teaching assignment and will have demonstrated success in teaching students in an elementary setting. A strong background in Language Arts is essential to the role as well as an enthusiasm and passion for the subject. Curriculum Coordinator (Part-Time)
Riverside Presbyterian Day School, an independent, coeducational elementary school (Pre-Kindergarten – 6th Grade) in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a part-time Curriculum Coordinator to join the Administrative Leadership Team beginning July 1, 2025.
As a key educational leader and instructional coach, the Curriculum Coordinator will collaborate with the Associate Head of School and Divisional Leaders to refine, develop, and implement curriculum and programs aligned with the mission and vision of RPDS. This role involves working closely with teachers and administrators to enhance instructional practices, support curriculum delivery, ensure alignment across grade levels, provide professional growth opportunities, and advance strategic academic goals. The Curriculum Coordinator will also serve on the Administrative Leadership Team, maintaining high academic standards while upholding the mission and integrity of RPDS.
Responsibilities:
- Inspire and empower teachers to grow in knowledge and understanding, teach with confidence, and find joy in their work.
- Train and coach teachers to know and understand the curriculum and provide them with feedback related to content delivery, best practices, and instructional strategies.
- Introduce innovative instructional methods and help teachers integrate new technology into their instruction
- Assist faculty with their work to incorporate differentiated instruction and global competencies into their teaching routines as necessary.
- Effectively communicate teaching and learning expectations and curriculum and programming changes to teachers and parents.

Qualifications:

- Master’s in Education, Curriculum and Design, and/or Leadership preferred
- Strong knowledge and background in curriculum design, implementation, and assessment.
- Capacity to provide support and guidance to teachers implementing new curriculum and methodologies.
- Prior experience in leading professional development, workshops, etc.
- Commitment to children and a strong understanding of childhood development, educational approaches, and curriculum
