The generosity of the RPDS community was shining bright in chapel! A donation of $6,597.65 was collected by our students through the 'Pasta for Pennies' program and given to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Just as dog genetics, personality and training bring unique skills to the forefront, students too excel in a variety of subjects and interests. As each student's experiences and cognitive development is nurtured it is thrilling to follow their career choices and successes.

For children, creative play is their "work" and the lessons learned are intricate, far-reaching and the architects of habits of mind. For every parent wishing children would "get serious," "grow up" and "stop playing around" there is a serious brain researcher eager to remind that the creative play of childhood generates intricate neural pathways, encourages healthy physical coordination, fosters interpersonal relationships and inspires independent problem solving.
