This spring, 14 Independent School Teachers from around Jacksonville and North Florida, including six Riverside Presbyterian Day School (RPDS) faculty members, completed their Gifted Education Coursework. Over the last two years these private school teachers have been attending gifted education courses hosted by RPDS and facilitated by Terry Kent, Director of Curriculum.
Completion of this coursework qualifies teachers for a Gifted Education Endorsement to be added to their Florida Teaching Certification and equips them with the skills needed to respond to gifted students in preschool, kindergarten, elementary school and middle school.
Congratulations to this fine group of educators!
