Sally Van Cleve (RPDS Class of ’07) recently earned the Presidential Scholarship from Queens University in Charlotte, NC.
Queens’ Associate Vice President and Dean of Admissions Woody O'Cain said, “Presidential Scholars are students who exemplify all that we ultimately seek in a student as displayed through their academic excellence, leadership achievement, service to the community, and potential to make a distinctive difference in our community and world."
Since her elementary years at Riverside Presbyterian Day School, Sally has continued to excel academically, while staying active in extra-curricular activities like soccer and basketball. Sally has also dedicated more than 1,000 hours to community service around Jacksonville, the U.S. and multiple mission trips to the Dominican Republic.
Sally will graduate from Episcopal School of Jacksonville in May, and looks forward to studying business and international education at Queens, with hopes of pursuing her passion for mission work.
