Congratulations to RPDS PreK 3 teacher Rebecca McNeil, recipient of the 2013 Bo Cotton Award.
A long-standing RPDS tradition, this award is presented every year to one outstanding RPDS faculty member for excellence in teaching as voted by their peers. The nod this year went to Mrs. McNeil, who has tirelessly served Riverside Presbyterian Day School for the past 13 years.
Mrs. McNeil’s passion for and commitment to RPDS pour from her enthusiasm for life itself. Her infectious and unconditional love for children grows from her genuine, joyful and Christ-centered approach to each day.
She is a trusted friend, colleague and mentor, whose leadership and influence spans all grade levels at RPDS. Whether Mrs. McNeil is teaching, championing a service opportunity, cajoling colleagues to accept new curricular challenges in service to children, lovingly guiding a parent or tutoring an older student, she simply loves being an educator.
The RPDS family is so very grateful for Mrs. McNeil!
